Tom's Glass

This logo was to be used on the usual collateral such as business cards, stationary and the like. It also would be used on the side of a glass van or truck. That being the case I wanted a tight logo that would be easy to read and eye catching as well as have a simple outline for the vinyl aplication or wrap. It had to be simple yet unique. My inspiration for this came from the back glass of a Ford. I wanted to use the frit pattern, which is the printed pattern that is on the lamination between two panes of glass, and the heating elements as a backdrop for the letterforms. I created this round backglass with the frit pattern on it and it worked well to give the logo some bulk and offset the letterform of "Toms Glass."
